Designing for Comfort
Most headphones are designed to feel good in a five-minute store demo. We designed Pulse to feel good on hour six of a workday.
That meant building a testing lab around long-duration wear rather than first impressions: pressure-mapping headbands across hundreds of head shapes, iterating memory-foam density until clamping force stayed under fatigue thresholds for eight-hour sessions, and rejecting pad materials that felt premium at minute one but trapped heat by minute thirty.
The pads that shipped on Pulse are the fourth generation of that process — not the softest option we tested, but the one that measured best across a full workday, not just the first few minutes of one.
